If you want the plated 500 that already looks like it rolled out of an ISDE service truck, KTM’s answer for 2027 is the 500 EXC-F 6Days. KTM USA lists base MSRP at **$14,699** plus **$690 freight** — and the bike is still the brand’s highest-spec street-legal enduro, not a sticker-and-prayer special.

The 6Days name is doing real work this year. The graphics package leans into Portuguese landscape and national colors for the **100th** running of the FIM Enduro of Nations (ISDE), hosted in Portugal. Underneath, you’re still on the EXC-F recipe: chromoly steel frame, aluminum-reinforced polyamide subframe, **510.9 cc** SOHC four-stroke, six-speed, and WP suspension with **300 mm / 310 mm** travel (fork / PDS shock) per ADV Pulse’s first look.

What the 6Days kit actually adds

This is the buyer math. Over a base 500 EXC-F, the 6Days stack includes orange-anodized CNC triple clamps, a composite skid plate, front axle puller, semi-floating front brake disc, solid rear disc with safety wire, orange rear sprocket, frame protection, a grippy 6Days seat, Giant rims with 6Days branding, and Continental TKC 80 tires — the same competition-oriented package ADV Pulse and KTM’s own model page call out. Brakes stay Brembo; the Offroad Control Unit (smart fuse/relay replacement under the seat) carries over on the EXC-F platform.

Dry-ish numbers from the KTM page and ADV Pulse sheet: seat height **963 mm**, tank about **8.5 L**, claimed weight without fuel around **114.8 kg**. Warranty on EXC-F dual-sports, including 6Days, is listed as a 1-year Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty.

Who should care

Woods and dual-sport riders shopping a plated big-bore single already know the 500 EXC-F plot. The 6Days question is whether you want the race kit and Portugal graphics baked in at sticker, versus building a base bike with aftermarket armor and wheels. If you’re comparing to softer adventure twins — including KTM’s own [2027 690 Rally](/news/2027-ktm-690-rally) — this stays a lights-on enduro with TKC 80s and a short tank, not a BDR touring mule.
