Trail Roamer respects copyright. Most of the photos we publish are official images supplied by manufacturers, race organizers and public agencies, and each one is credited. If you believe something on our site uses your work without permission, email trailroamers@gmail.com and we'll look at it promptly.

What to include in a notice

• Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
• A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
• The exact URL of the page on trailroamer.com where the material appears, and which image or passage it is.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete notice, we'll review it and remove or disable the material where appropriate, and we may let the person who supplied it know.

Counter-notices

If material you supplied was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your name, address, phone number and email; the material that was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you're outside the United States, any judicial district where Trail Roamer may be found) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice; and your physical or electronic signature.

Please be accurate. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can carry legal liability.
