Triumph is recalling its new-generation TF 450 dirt lineup for a complete cylinder-head replacement. Covered models are the 2026 TF 450-C (cross country), TF 450-E (enduro), TF 450-X (motocross), and the 2025 TF 450-RC Edition.
According to campaign materials summarized in trade coverage, rocker-arm friction inside the cylinder head can degrade performance and stall the engine, creating a crash hazard. Transport Canada published the campaign as recall 2026-378; Triumph also posted the campaign for U.S. owners.
The remedy is free replacement of the complete cylinder-head assembly at an authorized Triumph dealer. TF 250 models are not listed in the published affected set — do not assume 250 coverage without a VIN check.
If you own a covered TF 450, contact a Triumph dealer before your next practice or race day. Mention stall symptoms, unusual top-end noise, or power fade when booking the appointment, and ask the service desk to confirm your VIN against the cylinder-head campaign.
