Hart Wins Nampa EnduroCross as Walker Crashes Twice in the Matrix
Trystan Hart won two of three motos at the Ford Idaho Center for his first EnduroCross overall of 2026. Jonny Walker went 2-1-4 for second and still leads the points, with Ryder LeBlond third on the night.
Two weeks ago Trystan Hart left Las Vegas seventh overall with a disqualification on his card. On Saturday night he went 1-2-1 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho, to win Round 2 of the 2026 AMA EnduroCross Championship, his first overall of the season.
Hart scored four Olympic points on his KTM 350 XC-F. Jonny Walker went 2-1-4 for seven points and second overall, and Ryder LeBlond went 3-4-2 for nine and third, per the official EnduroCross race report. Walker still leads the points, but the night turned on two crashes in the same section of track, both of them his.
Moto 1: the matrix bites first
Hart got the jump in the opening moto, leading over the first tire obstacle before going side by side with Walker into the rocks, according to KTM's race release. Walker came out ahead and led the first two laps, with Hart and LeBlond tucked in behind.
Then Walker went down in the matrix on Lap 3. His lap time ballooned to 58.911 seconds while Hart ran a 50.075, and that swing put the KTM rider in front with LeBlond second and Walker back in third. Hart never gave it back. Walker got past LeBlond on Lap 8 and took nearly three seconds out of Hart on the last lap, but the gap at the flag was still 4.182 seconds. Cooper Abbott ran fourth all nine laps, with Cody Webb fifth.
Moto 2: Walker hits back
The second moto was Walker's best ride of the night and Hart's hardest. A second-row start left Hart pushed wide through the opening section, and he came around eighth after the first lap. Up front, Ricky Russell led the opening lap, James Flynn took over on Lap 2, and Walker went by on Lap 3 and was gone.
Walker's quickest full lap was a 50.483, and he won by 9.325 seconds. Hart was third by Lap 4 and passed Webb for second on Lap 5. LeBlond worked up from sixth to third, only to lose the spot back to Webb on the final lap and settle for fourth. Abbott had a rough one, 15th after the first lap and eighth at the finish.
That left Hart and Walker tied on three points going into the decider, with LeBlond and Webb on seven.
Moto 3: over the bars, and the overall
Walker set the tone early in the final moto. He led the first two laps and clocked a 48.535 on Lap 2 to open up 2.385 seconds on Hart, with LeBlond third. One lap later he was over the handlebars in the matrix, his second crash in that section on the night. That lap took him 1:03.628, and Hart, LeBlond and Abbott all went by.
From there it was Hart versus LeBlond. LeBlond closed to just over a second on Lap 4, Hart stretched it to a little more than two by Lap 7, and LeBlond cut into it on each of the last two laps. Hart crossed the line 1.460 seconds ahead for his second moto win and the overall.
Behind them, Tim Apolle had the ride of the moto, climbing from ninth after the first lap to third. Walker recovered to fourth, getting past Abbott on Lap 8, and that was enough to keep second overall ahead of LeBlond. Webb's night unraveled the other way: 15th after the opening lap, 12th at the flag, and seventh overall after his third in Moto 2.
Hart summed it up in the KTM release:
> "It was a good night of racing, definitely better than Round 1. It would have been sweet for the points if Ryder [LeBlond] got P2, but Jonny made a couple of passes near the end and finished second overall. We got the win, though, so now it’s on to Round 3!"

The points picture
Walker leaves Idaho with 47 points, five clear of LeBlond on 42. Hart has 40 and climbs four places to third, which is a big recovery for a rider who was classified seventh after his Moto 3 DSQ in Las Vegas. Abbott is two points behind Hart on 38, with Haaker on 34 and Webb on 33.
That's six riders inside 14 points after two rounds. Behind them, Hintze has 28, Apolle and Petrie are tied on 27, and Nick Thompson rounds out the top ten with 23.
The rest of the night
Max Eppelmann won the Expert final by 1.708 seconds over Max Gerston. Makana Barger doubled up in Intermediate and Junior, Landon Johnson won Novice, Ray Amos held off Keith Curtis by 0.670 seconds in Veteran, and Karver Grover won Club.
Next up: Everett
There's no break this time. Round 3 is Saturday, October 24 at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington. After that comes Salt Lake City on November 7 and the Idaho Falls doubleheader on November 13-14 to close the six-round season (full calendar on our EnduroCross hub). If you missed Saturday, FloRacing has the Nampa highlights.
Walker is still the man to catch, and Moto 2 showed how fast he is when he stays upright. But he crashed in the matrix twice in one night, and Hart and LeBlond were both close enough to cash in. If Everett has another section that punishes one mistake, five points won't feel like much of a cushion.
