Akrapovič Adventure Titanium Footpegs: One-Piece Grade 5 Pegs for ADV Bikes

The exhaust specialist's first footpeg set is one-piece Grade 5 titanium with an octagonal platform, a Y-shaped rib, tool-free rubber pads, ABE approval and fitment for a long list of adventure and enduro bikes.

Akrapovič is finally selling something that doesn't make noise. The Slovenian exhaust maker's new Adventure Footpeg Set (Titanium) is a one-piece casting in Grade 5 titanium from the company's own foundry, and it's aimed at the part of an adventure bike your boots spend all day standing on.

What Akrapovič says it built

In its launch release, Akrapovič says the pegs were designed from scratch around high mechanical strength and a very stable structure. The platform uses what the company calls its octagonal design with a Y-shaped reinforcement, and central teeth are there to spread your weight and keep control across the wide surface. The shape was developed for standing and heel-down riding on enduro terrain, where balance and traction matter more than looks.

Every set comes with a pair of rubber pads for road comfort and less vibration on the highway, and Akrapovič says fitting them takes no tools. The pegs are ABE type approved, which is German national type approval. Akrapovič's own warning is worth reading if you ride outside Germany: in countries that don't accept ABE, fitting the part may affect your bike's certification, so check local rules.

Why titanium makes sense here

Stock steel pegs usually survive tip-overs and rock strikes, but they're heavy and can bend. Aluminum aftermarket pegs save weight, but they can crack when you clip a boulder. Grade 5 titanium is meant to sit between the two, with high strength and fatigue resistance at a weight much nearer aluminum than steel, and that's the gap Akrapovič is going after. Casting the peg as one piece also means there are no welds, which is where fabricated pegs tend to fail first off-road. Akrapovič hasn't published a weight per set, so we can't tell you how many grams you'd save over your stock pegs.

Does it fit your bike?

The fitment table on Akrapovič's product page is longer than the brand list in its launch release, which named BMW, Ducati, GASGAS, Honda, Husqvarna, KTM, Triumph and Yamaha. The page now also has part codes for CFMoto, Suzuki and Kawasaki models. For dual-sport and adventure riders, the highlights are:

  • KTM 690 Enduro R, Husqvarna 701 Enduro and GASGAS ES700
  • Yamaha Ténéré 700
  • Honda CRF1000L and CRF1100L Africa Twin
  • BMW F 700 GS through F 900 GS, and the R 1150 GS through R 1300 GS and R 12 G/S
  • KTM 790, 890, 990, 1090, 1190, 1290 and 1390 Adventure models, and the Husqvarna Norden 901
  • Triumph Tiger 800, 850, 900 and 1200
  • Suzuki V-Strom 800, 800DE and 1050, and Ducati Multistrada V2 and V4
  • CFMoto 450MT, 700MT, 800MT, 800MT-X and 1000MT, and the 2026 Kawasaki KLE 500

Each version has its own part code and model years, so match yours on the table before you order. CFMoto owners in North America should check twice. Akrapovič lists the bikes by their MT names, and the table doesn't mention the Ibex names CFMoto uses in the U.S.

What it costs, and what we don't know

Akrapovič's page doesn't print a U.S. price. ADV Pulse puts retail, in its September 16 report, at around $270 a set, in line with high-end CNC aluminum pegs. Until Akrapovič or a U.S. retailer publishes a price, treat that as a reported ballpark.

We haven't ridden on these pegs, and Akrapovič hasn't published a weight, a platform size or a crash-test figure. What it has published is a one-piece Grade 5 titanium peg with a wide platform and a long fitment list. If your stock pegs feel like postage stamps, or you keep bending aluminum ones, this is the first Akrapovič part aimed at your boots rather than your decibel meter.
