Akrapovič is finally selling something that does not make noise. The new Adventure Footpeg Set in Grade 5 titanium is a one-piece casting from the company’s own foundry — wide octagonal platforms, a stiffening Y-rib, standing and heel-down geometry, and removable rubber pads that come off without tools when you leave the highway.

ADV Pulse’s September 16 write-up puts retail at **around $270 USD** per set. Akrapovič’s product page does not print a public USD sticker next to every SKU, so we are sticking with that reported ballpark — about **$270** — not inventing a catalog price we cannot see.

Why titanium pegs matter on an ADV bike

OEM steel pegs usually survive tip-overs and rock strikes, but they are heavy. Aftermarket aluminum sheds weight and can crack when you high-side a footpeg into a boulder. Grade 5 titanium is Akrapovič’s answer: strength and fatigue resistance closer to the hard-parts ideal, with weight in the aluminum neighborhood. Casting the peg as a single piece skips welds and heat-affected zones that fail first off-road.

Platform, grip, and the rubber pads

The layout is a **wide octagonal** platform with a **Y-rib** inside for stiffness and load spread. Aggressive perimeter teeth hold a boot when you are standing through whoops; the rubber inserts calm highway buzz and pull off in seconds when you want metal again. ABE type approval is listed on the OEM page — useful for riders in markets that care about that stamp.

Akrapovič’s fitment table is long.
