2027 BMW F 450 GS U.S. Pricing: From $6,995 Across Three Trims
BMW Motorrad USA has published 2027 F 450 GS sticker prices: Cosmic Black base at $6,995, Sport at $7,795, and GS Trophy at $8,195, all plus destination. The mid-size adventure twin is aimed at a Q1 2027 U.S. arrival.
The mid-size GS finally has U.S. stickers. BMW Motorrad USA’s latest F 450 GS rollout puts the 2027 bike on the board from $6,995 plus destination, with a Sport package at $7,795 and the dirt-biased GS Trophy at $8,195 - and RevZilla’s Oct. 2 write-up matches that three-trim ladder.
That is the new fact riders were waiting on. Last November’s BMW Motorrad USA press briefing introduced the bike and said pricing would land closer to launch, with early U.S. talk centered on a GS Trophy-only package. Today’s sheet opens the lineup wider and puts real dollars on each trim.
What you get for the money
Across the board the F 450 GS is a new 420 cc parallel twin with a 135-degree crankpin offset, claimed 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 32 lb-ft at 6,750 rpm. Chassis talk from BMW is a tubular steel frame, KYB 43 mm USD fork and KYB WAD rear shock with about 7.1 in of travel each end, Brembo front brake hardware, and ABS Pro, DBC, DTC, and MSR as standard rider aids. Seat height is listed around 33.3 in, tank about 3.6 gal, and DIN wet weight about 393 lb.
Base Cosmic Black ($6,995) is the entry card with heated grips, full LED lighting, the 6.5-inch TFT with Connectivity, and the standard Rain / Road / Enduro mode stack. Sport ($7,795, Racing Red Metallic) adds Riding Modes Pro, Gear Shift Assist Pro, sport suspension with fork compression/rebound adjust, off-road pegs, handguards, a plastic engine guard, and a touring windshield. GS Trophy ($8,195, Racing Blue Metallic) keeps the Pro electronics and sport suspension, swaps in an aluminum engine guard and Rallye windshield, and is the trim that carries BMW’s Easy Ride Clutch centrifugal setup so you can start and shift without working the lever - with the lever still there when you want it.
RevZilla notes an optional $800 Enduro package of tubeless cross-spoked wheels on GS Trophy that pushes that build to $8,995 before destination. Freight, dealer fees, and tax are still local math.
When it shows up - and who it is for
BMW and the Oct. 2 rollout both point to a Q1 2027 U.S. market window (some earlier notes also floated late Q4 2026). If you have been shopping Himalayan 450 / Ibex 450 / KLE500 money but wanted GS electronics and a twin in the 48 hp A2-style class, this is the price card to weigh against those singles - and against a loaded Trophy build that climbs into KTM 390 Adventure R territory once wheels and destination land.
