Triumph TXP-20 and TXP-24 Expand OSET Electric Off-Road Range
Triumph adds the TXP-20 ($3,495) and adult-capable TXP-24 ($3,995) to its OSET-powered electric off-road range — completing the lineup from age 3 through adults. Order now at select dealers; not street-legal.

Triumph just filled the gap in its electric off-road ladder. On September 22, the brand announced the TXP-20 and TXP-24 — OSET-powered machines that sit above the existing TXP-12 and TXP-16 and push the lineup from age three all the way into adulthood.
These are not street toys with knobbies. Triumph is explicit: TXP bikes are **not road-legal**. Private land or designated off-road only, adult supervision, one rider, helmet and gear required. Treat them like closed-course/electric trials tools that happen to wear Performance Yellow and Graphite.
TXP-20: ages 7–10, from $3,495
The TXP-20 targets growing riders ages **7–10**. Triumph lists it **From $3,495.00**. Specs sheet power is a **1.6 kW 58V** brushless motor with encoder, parent-tunable top speed **up to 24 mph**, and a sealed **58V 19.5Ah** lithium pack (IPX7) with tool-free quick-release. As shipped, Triumph quotes about **97.7 lb** net weight and a **42.72-inch** wheelbase.
Seat height flips with the modular kit: **20.67 inches** in Trials (standing) mode, **27.56 inches** in Xplore (seated). Suspension is air-sprung — **125 mm** fork / **115 mm** rear monoshock with rebound adjust. Brakes are hydraulic two-piston discs on **203 mm** front / **180 mm** rear rotors.
TXP-24: ages 11+ including adults, from $3,995
The flagship TXP-24 is the adult-capable end of the range — ages **11 and up**, including teens and adults up to about **198.4–198.86 lb / 90.2 kg** depending on whether you read the product page or the Sept. 22 press. **From $3,995.00**. Motor steps up to **2.0 kW 58V** brushless; parent dials can push top speed **up to 27 mph**. Battery is the same class **58V 19.5Ah** sealed pack with LED SOC and diagnostic port.
Chassis numbers get more serious: tubular steel frame, **48.03-inch** wheelbase, about **109.3 lb** net as shipped. Seat heights: **25 inches** Trials / **31.89 inches** Xplore. Air fork **160 mm** with compression and rebound; rear air monoshock **154 mm**. Hydraulic discs stay **203 / 180 mm**, with four-piston hardware called out in the press for the TXP-24 end of the braking story.
The 2-in-1 trick: Xplore vs Trials
Every TXP carries Triumph’s modular seat-and-mudguard setup. Pull the seat and adjust the front guard — no tools — and you flip between seated trail riding (**Xplore**) and standing trials-style (**Trials**). Same bike, two postures. That is the product pitch parents will actually use at the park or on private property.
FOC, APS, and the parent lockouts
Motor management is Field-Oriented Control (**FOC**) with Active Power Stabilization (**APS**) so torque stays predictable as the pack voltage sags. Safety stack is layered: **PIN** parental controls for speed/power/throttle response, magnetic wrist **lanyard** kill, and a **two-stage** startup so the bike does not wake up in the truck bed. Ingress ratings match the product pages — motor **IP67**, battery **IPX7**, controller **IP66**.
Price, ordering, and what is still TBD
Triumph says both new models are **available to order now** at selected dealers worldwide, with **pre-Christmas delivery** claimed in the Sept. 22 press. Published prices are **From $3,495** (TXP-20) and **From $3,995** (TXP-24). Freight, destination, taxes, and dealer fees are **not** broken out in the materials we saw — get a written dealer quote before you treat the “From” number as out-the-door.
Rider takeaway
If you already parked a TXP-12 or TXP-16 in the garage and needed the next size up — or you wanted an adult-friendly electric trials/trail toy under Triumph yellow — the TXP-20 and TXP-24 close the range. Order at a Triumph dealer, keep it off public roads, and budget freight on top of the From prices.
