2027 Beta RR Race Two-Strokes: 300 Head Work, Shared Race Kit

While the MY27 RR Race four-strokes landed launch control and a quickshifter, Beta's 125/200/250/300 two-strokes get motor refinements - especially a revised 300 head and exhaust-valve timing - plus shared KYB valve maps, LED mask, Trailtech dash, and stronger chain protection. Beta’s 2027 RR Race story is bigger than the four-stroke electronics package. The same wave covers the carbureted two-stroke Race bikes - 125, 200, 250, and 300 - with motor refinements instead of new rider aids, plus the shared chassis and cockpit updates that land on every Race displacement.

RR Race sits above Beta’s trail-leaning X-Pro as the factory race-kit enduro trim: KYB closed-cartridge forks, race graphics, Ergal pegs, quick-release front axle. The two-strokes keep Keihin PWK 36 carbs and premix (no auto-lube in Race trim) to save weight; oil injection stays a Factory Parts option. This is a competition enduro platform, not a plated dual-sport tourer.

What’s new on the two-strokes

Per Beta’s MY27 RR Race 2T 300 model page and Enduro21 / Dirt Action coverage from early September: the 125 gets an updated piston aimed at smoother delivery. The 250 and 300 add new main bearings said to cut internal friction. The 300 alone also gets revised cylinder-head geometry and exhaust-valve timing so low- and mid-rpm response is more progressive without dumping Race character.

Official dry weight on the RR Race 2T 300 is listed at 103.5 kg (228.2 lb), with a 292.6 cc (73 × 69.9 mm) single, 950 mm seat height, 9.5 L tank, and dual-spark NGK CR7EB setup.

Shared Race kit across the eight-bike MY27 lineup

Every MY27 RR Race bike - 2T and 4T - gets a reinforced chain guide, a wider/stronger output sprocket guard, softer anti-vibration grips, a redesigned headlight mask with a latest-generation LED, a larger Trailtech dash with a new wheel-speed reed sensor, and KYB 48 mm sealed-cartridge fork / C46 RCU shock with new race-team hydraulic settings.

Carryover Race kit on the 300 2T includes a red anodized quick-release front spindle, bi-component handguards, Ergal pegs, a ZF bi-material rear sprocket, a racing seat with document pocket, and Maxxis-class enduro tire sizes (90/90-21 front, 140/80-18 rear on the OEM sheet).

Timing and price

Enduro21 frames worldwide dealer arrivals from October 2026, with global pricing not yet confirmed in that report. Dirt Action expects Australian RR Race stock from December, with local pricing closer to launch. Ultimate Motorcycling’s Sep 4 first look published U.S. MSRPs for the four-strokes only ($11,990-$12,590, November U.S. dealers), so there's no 2T Race sticker to quote yet. Confirm with your authorized Beta dealer.

Who should care

If you race woods enduros or hard-enduro club days on a 300 two-stroke, MY27 is about cleaner low/mid drive and shared protection/dash updates - not launch control (that stays on the 4T Race bikes). Weekend trail riders who never see a start gate still gain the LED mask, stronger chain hardware, softer grips, and revised KYB maps. Ask dealers which 2T Race crates land first in your region, then budget chest protection and tire wear for rock work.
