2027 KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO Returns with Factory Protection and Suspension Package

Published September 3, 2026, KTM detailed the return of the 300 EXC HARDENDURO trim for model year 2027. The bike keeps its street-legal hard-enduro positioning and adds HARDENDURO-specific graphics plus a long factory equipment list aimed at technical terrain.

Factory-listed components include a WP XACT closed-cartridge fork with preload adjusters, Metzeler 6Days Extreme tires, a skid plate, wrap-around handguards, a radiator fan, and a floating front disc, among other protection and chassis pieces called out in launch coverage.

Production was scheduled to start in September at KTM’s Mattighofen plant. Australian coverage dated September 4 says local dealers should see bikes from November 2026, with AU pricing noted as TBA in that report. Trail Roamer is not publishing a U.S. MSRP until a primary U.S. price sheet is confirmed.

Australian reporting also frames the 2027 update as graphics-led relative to 2026 mechanical dimensions — useful honesty for shoppers who want to know what actually changed versus what is carryover. For U.S. dual-sport and hard-enduro buyers, the EXC HARDENDURO remains the factory path to a plated two-stroke with serious rock-garden equipment from the crate.

This first-look supersedes any earlier placeholder Trail Roamer copy that invented mapping or dry-weight claims. Stick to the factory list above until we have a confirmed press kit ride or U.S. dealer invoice sheet.
