AMA Hard Enduro

The AMA National Hard Enduro Championship is extreme off-road racing in the United States. Courses are built to be brutal: rock gardens, steep loose climbs, log piles, creek beds and technical sections that can stop most riders cold. Finishing at all is an achievement, and the pros make it look possible.

Each event has its own format and character. Some run timed laps over a hard loop, some use a sprint or prologue to set starting positions, and some send riders through long natural-terrain races where the hardest sections decide everything. Well-known rounds include the Tennessee Knockout and Hollow Point, and the series features both pro and amateur classes, so weekend riders can race the same terrain the factory riders do.

Hard enduro is where traction control, clutch skills, body position and bike setup matter more than horsepower. The bikes and techniques that work here often show up later in what everyday riders buy and learn.

This hub collects the schedule and our coverage of the series. Official results, rules and entry information are on the championship site.
